Tiger And other losses

Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

They are almost gone, done in by careless greed. So are the polar bears I so adore, perching on floes of disappearing ice. And the elepants whose ivory tusks are the seeds of their own destruction.

If god exists, god weeps.  I know I do.
